Syed Wajid is a PIB accredited journalist with an experience of more than 22 years in journalism. He writes on fashion, food and politics. Writing crime with an investigative and meticulously researched story and Indian Police has been his forte. He, often, writes under a pseudonym- Sufi. He has written more than 15 thousand articles byline for various publications and media houses that include Hindu, Times of India, Hindustan Times, National Herald, Uday India etcetera.
Sufi with a creative mindset is also a voracious reader and prolific writer. He loves teaching English Literature and Grammar to school & college students.He loves plants and spends time tending them. He has earned accolades and won a plethora of awards in sports and journalistic pursuits.
The bibliophile scribe has a good command of the English language, and is passionately in love with the Queen’s English. He can’t stand eminent writers, columnists and editors committing horrendous gaffes in their writings therefore he spots their bloomers whether glaringly loud or inconspicuously microscopic, marks and sends them along with the appropriate usages.
Collection of antique, rare and bizarre pieces comprising watches, clocks, radios, books etcetera has been his passion; he collects the artefacts while exploring new and exotic places across the country. Reading, writing, gardening, biking, listening to music, strumming the strings and cooking are his favourite pastimes.
He is spiritual and implicitly believes in karma. No complaints and harbours no grudges against anyone whosoever as all are good souls created by Him, he thoroughly believes.
