SBI Says September 28-30 Bank Strike Deferred, Assures Normal Banking Services

NEW DELHI: State Bank of India (SBI) has advised customers that the proposed September 28–30, 2026 bank strike has been deferred and its branches and banking services will continue to function normally.

In a customer advisory posted on X, SBI said the three-day strike had been called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU).

The bank’s assurance of normal services covers the dates for which the strike had been proposed. SBI thanked customers for their patience and continued trust in the bank.
