Delhi Police Rescue Four From House Fire in Majlis Park; Swift Response by Adarsh Nagar Police Prevents Major Tragedy

New Delhi, July 12: A prompt response by the Delhi Police helped avert a major tragedy after a fire broke out at a house in Majlis Park under the jurisdiction of Adarsh Nagar Police Station in North West Delhi.

According to the Delhi Police, a team from Adarsh Nagar Police Station, under the DCP North West District, rescued four people trapped inside the burning house, ensuring their safe evacuation.

Police said the rescue operation began immediately after a PCR call reporting the fire was received. Sub-Inspector Rajesh and Constable Pradeep rushed to the spot without delay and entered the affected premises to rescue the occupants.

The timely action by the police personnel enabled all four individuals to be brought out safely, preventing what could have turned into a major loss of life.

Sharing details of the operation on its official X handle, Delhi Police described the rescue as an example of its commitment to public service and emergency response.

The department said the courageous and swift intervention by the Adarsh Nagar police team reflects the force’s dedication to protecting lives during emergencies. No further details regarding the cause of the fire or the condition of those rescued were immediately disclosed.
