New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is thrilled to announce that gym memberships for the Qutab Golf Course Fitness Centre are now available to the public. The annual membership fee is set at Rs 70,800, accompanied by updated entry fees and additional charges.
Situated on Press Enclave Road in South Delhi, the esteemed Qutab Golf Course boasts an impressive 18-hole layout, a luxurious clubhouse, and a state-of-the-art driving range that spans 250 yards and features 28 hitting bays.
Managed by the DDA, the fitness centre within the new clubhouse offers breathtaking views of the verdant golf course, including the historic heritage clubhouse.
According to promotional materials from the DDA, “The fitness centre is fully equipped with cutting-edge exercise equipment, and the welcoming atmosphere is designed to motivate members to achieve their fitness goals under the guidance of experienced trainers. The gym is air-conditioned and includes changing rooms, lockers, a sauna, a steam bath, and a variety of other amenities. Additionally, a restaurant and bar are available for members’ enjoyment.”
The DDA is offering a limited number of 200 gym memberships, which include access to food and beverage facilities. Members are also allowed to bring up to five guests for a nominal fee of Rs 100 per guest.
In conjunction with the launch of gym memberships, the DDA has announced an increase in various fees, including green fees, entry fees, golf cart charges, booking fees, and display fees, effective June 1 of this year.
In a separate public notice, the DDA detailed the new fee structure: for the government category, the lifetime entry fee is set at Rs 5.50 lakh, with three-year and five-year options priced at Rs 1.65 lakh and Rs 2.75 lakh, respectively. The monthly subscription fee for this category is Rs 1,320.
In the non-government category, the lifetime membership fee is set at Rs 16.50 lakh. For a three-year membership, the fee is Rs 4.95 lakh, while a five-year membership costs Rs 8.25 lakh. Additionally, a monthly membership is available for Rs 1,980. Please note that all fees are exclusive of GST.
According to the brochure, gym members are entitled to reserve party venues under the “Others” category, with charges applicable as specified. Furthermore, members can take advantage of additional amenities, such as enjoying a round of golf at the course on a pay-and-play basis.
