New Delhi: A Promotion-cum-Pipping ceremony of other ranks was organized at CISF HQrs, New Delhi, and simultaneously at all the sectors and zonal headquarters across India. Total, 2100 Constable/GD have been promoted to the next rank of Head Constable/GD in CISF units and formations across the country.
In this initiative for the welfare of the personnel, 2100 Constable/GD have been promoted to the rank of Head Constable/GD. Sudhir Kumar Saxena, DG, CISF put ranks to promoted CISF personnel during promotion-cum-pipping ceremony. Arvind Deep, ADG (North), PS Phalnikar, ADG (APS), Prateek Mohanty, IG (Pers), and other senior officers of CISF were present during the ceremony. The event witnessed immense pride and enthusiasm amongst the promoted personnel. To implement this transformational agenda, the officers and staff of CISF HQrs pursued hard and maintained liaison and coordination with MHA, for promoting the personnel.
Keeping in view the COVID menace and protocols of social distancing, only a few constables were invited from Delhi-NCR Units and IGI Airport for putting their ranks on promotion during the ceremony. In a similar fashion, pipping ceremonies were also organized in all the sectors and zonal HQs of CISF for promoting the CISF personnel to the next higher rank.
CISF Chief Saxena congratulated all the promoted Head Constable/GD. He said, “regular promotions to the personnel go a long way towards enhancing our capabilities and this also motivates other personnel to improve their tasks and aspire for a similar promotion. It will bolster the morale of the employees as well.”
Saxena added that in the present scenario which is full of negativity, such promotions will help build a positive functional atmosphere at workplaces.
