Noida Police Register FIR Against Karnataka IPS Officer Shivanshu Rajput Over Dowry Harassment and Domestic Violence Allegations

Noida/New Delhi/Bengaluru: An FIR has been registered at a Noida police station against Karnataka cadre IPS officer Shivanshu Rajput following serious allegations of dowry harassment and domestic violence lodged by his wife.

Dr. Kruti Singh, wife of 2019 batch IPS officer Shivanshu Rajput, filed a complaint at the Noida police station accusing him and several family members of dowry harassment and domestic abuse.

The complaint names seven individuals, including Shivanshu Rajput, his parents, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and a friend, alleging they subjected her to continuous physical and mental cruelty.

Dr. Singh stated that despite being in a love marriage, she has endured ongoing physical and mental abuse. She also revealed that their wedding, held at Panchtara Hotel, cost around Rs. 2 crore.

Additionally, Dr. Singh alleged in the FIR that Rajput maintained illegal relationships with multiple women.

The Noida police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
