Delhi Crime Branch Nabs Two Notorious Gangsters in Shahbad Dairy Encounter Linked to Deepak Murder Case

New Delhi: In a significant breakthrough in its ongoing crackdown on crime, the Delhi Crime Branch arrested two notorious gangsters following a late-night encounter in Shahbad Dairy area. The duo, identified as Vijay and Somveer, were involved in the murder of Deepak, nephew of gangster Manjeet Mahal.

According to officials, the two accused are believed to be associated with the Nandu gang, which had earlier emerged as a key suspect in the Deepak murder case. Acting on a specific intelligence input, the Crime Branch launched a targeted operation after tracing their exact location.

As the accused attempted to evade arrest, a shootout ensued during which both criminals sustained bullet injuries in their legs. The injured men were immediately shifted to a hospital for medical treatment, officials said.

The Crime Branch had been closing in on the suspects while tracking developments related to Deepak’s killing. Sources confirmed that the operation was executed based on a meticulous plan aimed at neutralizing potential threats and preventing further violence.
