Delhi | Bomb Threats Scare Red Fort and Jama Masjid, Security Agencies on High Alert

NEW DELHI: Hoax bomb threats targeting the iconic Red Fort and Jama Masjid in Delhi have triggered a rapid and comprehensive response from security agencies. An official from the Delhi Fire Services revealed that the threats prompted thorough security checks at both sites on Thursday morning.

The official disclosed that a call was received at 9:03 am alerting authorities to the presence of a bomb at the historical monuments. Teams were promptly dispatched to assess the situation.

“We immediately dispatched a fire tender to the scene and conducted thorough searches,” the official stated. Fortunately, no suspicious items were discovered at either location.
