17-Year-Old Boy Stabbed to Death in South Delhi’s Molarband; Three Accused Apprehended

New Delhi, July 13: A 17-year-old boy succumbed to injuries after being allegedly stabbed during a confrontation in South Delhi’s Molarband area on Saturday evening. Delhi Police has apprehended three accused in connection with the murder, while efforts are underway to trace the remaining suspects.

According to Delhi Police, information about the incident was received through DD No. 94A of Police Station Badarpur at around 8 pm on July 12. The information was conveyed by the local beat staff regarding a stabbing incident near Pandey Medical Store, Gali No. 4, 40 Feet Road, Molarband, Badarpur.

Called to the Spot Over Relationship Dispute

Preliminary inquiry revealed that the victim, a 17-year-old resident of Molarband Extension, was allegedly called to the spot by the brother of a girl with whom he was reportedly in a relationship.

Police said the teenager reached the location along with three of his friends, where an altercation allegedly broke out between the two groups.

During the confrontation, the victim was allegedly attacked with a sharp-edged weapon and sustained stab injuries to his chest and abdomen.

Succumbed During Treatment

With the help of local residents, the injured teenager was immediately shifted to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he was initially reported to be in critical condition.

However, police later confirmed that the victim succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Three Accused Apprehended

Following the incident, the Delhi Police Crime Team inspected the scene of crime and collected evidence.

A case has been registered under the relevant provisions of law, and the investigation has been taken up.

Police said three accused have been apprehended, while dedicated teams are conducting raids to trace and arrest the remaining accused involved in the case.
