New Delhi: Seven-year-old Dakshith Chatterjee, a student of K.R. Mangalam International School in Delhi-NCR, has been recognised by the International Book of Records as the youngest author of a science-fiction book for his debut work, The Amazing Adventures of Alex.
According to the press note, Dakshith received the recognition on June 10, 2026, when he was seven years, eight months and 16 days old.
A story built around science and imagination
The Amazing Adventures of Alex follows its central character through science fiction, space exploration, mysterious discoveries and a series of adventures. The book reflects Dakshith’s interest in the universe and storytelling.
The achievement also highlights how early encouragement in reading and creative writing can help children develop independent ideas and turn them into finished work.
