New Delhi: Rohini’s Special Task Force has arrested a 52-year-old man identified as Sanjay Kumar in an operation that reportedly led to the recovery of 2.837 kg of opium and seizure of an MG Gloster.
The operation was carried out by the STF team led by Inspector Amit Dahiya under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner of Police Ajay Vedwal, according to details of the action.
Supply network under examination
Rohini Deputy Commissioner of Police Shashank Jaiswal was quoted as saying that investigators would trace the source of the contraband and the wider network connected to its supply.
The stated recovery was 2.837 kg of opium. The MG Gloster was also seized as part of the action.
