New Delhi: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has laid foundation stones for ₹170 crore in development projects across Delhi industrial areas, with roads, drains and drainage identified as priorities.
The programme took place at Rajasthani Udyog Nagar under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan on October 13, Gupta said. The announcement concerns the start of the projects through a foundation-stone ceremony.
Gupta said her government was prioritising basic infrastructure in industrial areas she described as long neglected, with the aim of providing relief to entrepreneurs, workers and local residents.
She linked improved facilities to ease of doing business and new employment opportunities, describing these as the government’s objectives for the industrial sector.
Cabinet minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa was among those present at the programme.
