New Delhi: Delhi Traffic Police issued 10,583 challans during a special enforcement drive against multiple traffic violations, the force said in a post on X.
The action covered wrong-side driving, improper parking, riding without helmets, PUCC violations and triple riding.
According to Delhi Traffic Police, 299 unauthorised vendors were removed and 43 vehicles were towed during the drive. It also said 59 IRs were recorded under Section 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
