Light Rain, Drizzle Likely Across Delhi-NCR; Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds Expected in Nearby Regions

New Delhi: The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Delhi, has issued a weather update predicting light rainfall and drizzle across parts of the national capital and adjoining NCR regions.

As per the 8:40 AM update, very light rainfall or drizzle is likely at isolated locations in Delhi, including Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Burari, Kanjhawala, Rohini, Badli, Model Town, Mundka, Jafarpur, and Najafgarh. Similar conditions are also expected in nearby Bahadurgarh in NCR.

Earlier, at 7:00 AM, the weather office had forecast very light rainfall or drizzle at many places across Delhi and NCR. Additionally, light rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, along with gusty winds of 30–40 km/h, is likely in parts of Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh, including Palwal, Nuh, Amroha, Moradabad, and Garhmukteshwar.

Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious during sudden weather changes, especially in areas likely to experience thunderstorms and gusty winds.
