Delhi Police Partners with C-DOT to Enhance Smart Policing through Indigenous Technologies

New Delhi: In a significant advancement towards enhancing smart policing capabilities, the Delhi Police has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) to integrate indigenous and secure technologies into its operations.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, Special Commissioner of Police (Crime), and C-DOT CEO R K Upadhyay.

This collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen cybersecurity frameworks, and improve surveillance and emergency response capabilities across the national capital. Officials stated that the initiative will leverage advanced indigenous technologies to modernize policing systems and ensure faster, more secure responses to emerging challenges.

This move is part of a broader push towards technology-driven law enforcement, focusing on real-time data integration, secure communication networks, and improved public safety infrastructure.

Delhi Police officials emphasized that the partnership will play a crucial role in addressing evolving cyber threats while also upgrading field-level policing capabilities through innovation and digital tools.
