New Delhi: A fire broke out at a vacant plot in Pitampura Village where scrap cardboard was stored under tin sheds, leaving two workers dead and five others injured, police said on Tuesday.
According to officials, the injured workers—reportedly from Nalanda district in Bihar—were immediately shifted to BJRM Hospital for treatment. The deceased have been identified as Biresh and Satish.
Firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control, but two tin sheds were completely gutted in the incident.
