New Delhi: Delhi witnessed two shocking firing incidents early this morning. At around 6:25 AM, Delhi Police received a call reporting gunshots in Aya Nagar under Fatehpur Beri police station limits. When the police team reached the spot, a man was found lying with multiple bullet injuries. The victim was identified as Rattan, son of Lekhi Ram, aged 52 and a resident of Aya Nagar. Police have registered a case of murder and an intensive investigation is underway, with forensic teams collecting evidence from the spot.

According to eyewitnesses, Rattan had stepped out early as usual to collect milk from a local dairy when several shots were fired near Aggarwal Chowk. Witnesses claim that nearly 12–15 rounds were fired, leading to his death on the spot. Police are scanning CCTV footage, questioning locals, and exploring potential motives behind the targeted attack.

In another incident in Shahdara’s MS Park area, a 17-year-old boy was shot dead during a clash at a wedding ceremony. Initial investigation suggests that an argument broke out between the victim and a group of attendees, which escalated into violence. The teenager was shot at close range and succumbed to his injuries. Delhi Police have launched a manhunt and are identifying suspects involved in the killing.
Police presence has been intensified at both crime spots. FSL teams have collected samples, spent cartridges, and ballistic traces. Officers say that multiple rounds were fired in both cases, suggesting premeditated attacks. Investigations are in progress and more details are awaited.
