Two-Year-Old Girl Assaulted by Neighbor in Bawana, Delhi

Date:

New Delhi: A man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a two-year-old girl in his neighborhood in the Bawana area of outer north Delhi, according to police officials on Tuesday.

The incident reportedly occurred on Friday and came to light when the girl’s mother returned home from work to find her daughter in distress. Upon inquiring with her elder daughter, the mother learned that a neighbor had taken the younger girl into his room.

It is alleged that the man assaulted the child, bathed her, and changed her clothes. Concerned for her daughter’s well-being, the mother examined the child and noticed swelling on her body, prompting the girl to express that she was in pain.
