US Director of National Intelligence Meets with Indian Prime Minister

NEW DELHI: The U.S. Director of National Intelligence, Ms. Tulsi Gabbard, met with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today.

During their meeting, Prime Minister Modi fondly recalled his recent visit to Washington D.C. and the productive discussions he had with President Trump. He also mentioned his previous interaction with Ms. Tulsi Gabbard in the U.S. and praised her for her role in enhancing cooperation in defense, critical technologies, counter-terrorism, and addressing global challenges.

Prime Minister Modi highlighted the significance of Ms. Gabbard’s visit as the first high-level visit to India from the U.S. during President Trump’s second term.

He also extended warm greetings to President Trump and expressed excitement for his upcoming visit to India later this year, on behalf of himself and the 1.4 billion people of India.
