New Delhi: Delhi Police’s Central District team has extradited from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and arrested a man wanted in a rape case, Delhi Police said in a post on X.
The accused had raped a 20-year-old woman at a hotel in Karol Bagh in October 2025 and fled the country. To bring him back, the police team coordinated with various agencies and an INTERPOL Red Corner Notice was issued.
Through persistent efforts, the team extradited him to India and arrested him, police said.
